Sexy Sounds for a Scary Night!

Dear Friends,

Halloween truly offers a wonderful opportunity to go all out with party planning. We love the costumes and some of he amazing decorations we can spot all around the neighborhoods. But please, do not put "Thriller" on the loudspeakers! DJ Matt, a fan of the season, has truly inspiring ideas.

"Happy Halloween ghouls and boys! "Mad Monster Party" has always been a childhood favorite of mine, (and I pray still played on TV!) Classic monster movies were enjoying a resurgence in popularity in the late 1960s, and humorous monsters like The Addams Family and The Munsters were enormously popular. This campy animated film is a spoof on horror themes, complete with musical numbers and inside jokesUnbeknownst to me at the time, the theme song, sung by none other than legendary Jazz vocalist Ethel Ennis, now has an even more alluring and sinfully seductive appeal to its already smooth, sultry, spooky evocation : ) Here's to a hauntingly swingin' halloween!"

Wishing you a sweet week!
Janet
