SXSW 2019 Round Up - Our Favorite Activations and Ideas

Fresh on the heels of SXSW we have a look at EMERGING TRENDS and BEST ACTIVATIONS that the event industry should know about. Update on Malibu - Our Favorite Event Locations Are Up And Running!

Images of the devastating Woolsey Fire and more recent mudflows are fresh on every one's mind. We get questions about the wonderful event locations in Malibu, California , weekly from our friends and clients around the country and the world. We Californians know how fast an area can rebound from wildfires. This is the case in Malibu right now. After all the winter rains the hills are currently covered by California poppies and purple lupins. We checked in with three main beautiful event locations, King Gillette Ranch, Calamigos Ranch and Malibu Wine Safari. The City of Malibu confirms that all city services and businesses are open! Please read our update. Saddle Rock Ranch - Malibu Wine Safari First of all, an important note to all the fans of Hollywood star Stanley the Giraffe. Stanley is happy and healthy! Local residents were concerned about the well-being of all the animals at the ranch during the fire. All animals survived the ordeal and they are all doing very well.

Event Report: We Did It Again! A Mini Festival "Stagecoach"-Style.

Ted Bowers and Marcelo Cruz Just two weeks after our Coachella-esque event we returned to the Empire Polo Club to turn the a client's Stagecoach style dream into event reality. The Event: a 3-Day Conference, including evening events. Friday night featured a themed event - the Stagecoach Style mini festival - for a high-end professional association. Guest Count: 750 Event Production Highlights: The Conference : we made extensive use of budget-friendly scenic LED lighting to enhance the General Session and add local color to the room. Entertainment:  Entertainment: we produced a mini festival, inspired by the Stagecoach Festival, with all the bells and whistles, for the Friday night themed party.
