Happy Birthday to Chris Gerstenblatt!

Dear Friends,
A few days late, we are officially saying "Happy Birthday!" to our producer Chris Gerstenblatt who just celebrated his BIG THREE-O. The actual birthday was on February 23rd.  The festivities started at work in San Francisco with Janet Elkins and DJ Matt and a few others in town. So how did Chris celebrate after work? "I went on a wine-tasting weekend near Santa Barbara with longtime friends."  We have visions of "Sideways" and we would not dare drink merlot!
Chris' gift to himself makes us all here in the office very happy: please meet Abby! Chris rescued the beautiful, sweet, almost 3-year-old Golden Retriever/Lab mix from a local shelter.
We all love dogs and we are thrilled for Chris and Abby! She is joining Chewy and Beatrice as an official office dog.
As his birthday song, Chris requested any song from Florence and the Machine. Here is "Cosmic Love" for you!

Florence and the Machine are an English indie pop band, consisting of lead singer Florence Welch  and a collaboration of other artists who provide backing music. Florence and the Machine's sound has been described as a combination of various genres, including rock and soul and electronica .The band's music received praise across the music media, especially from the BBC, before they gained mainstream success. Specifically, the BBC played a large part in their rise to prominence by promoting Florence and the Machine as part of "BBC Introducing." Chock full of whipping drum rolls and raw, uncontrollable bursts of emotion-laden lyricism, “Cosmic Love” is a chilling invocation of the classic quirk of Kate Bush, and otherworldly wisps of Bat For Lashes and Bjork.
Chilling. Powerful. A big music must in my book.  Happy Birthday Christopher! : )
