Ted Bowers Reports: How To Create A NADA Trade Show Booth Worthy Of An Industry Legend
It was very short notice - just three weeks to showtime - but we were thrilled to have the chance to build the space for a famous vendor - the new Cardone Division, Cardone Automotive Resources - for the largest automobile dealer convention in the country, the sold-out 2019 NADA Show in San Francisco, that took over the whole Moscone Convention Center for 3 days.
Car enthusiast and collector - and, of course EW Technical Director - Ted Bowers reports from San Francisco.
Ted: "It was a super fast turn and I am thrilled that it came off flawlessly. All went really well and the client, automobile industry legend James Burton, Executive Director of C.A.R., was happy. Our main goal was two-fold: attract show attendees and provide an inviting, exciting space to demonstrate the C.A.R. sales software and technology. The software is a really impressive, comprehensive sales and service tracking solution that is market-leading in the industry. We followed Cardone's branding guidelines in terms of colors and design and we designed to scale to maximize the available space in the hall. NADA is a very large show. We managed to take advantage of the location by angling the overhead displays to catch everyone's eyes.
It was impossible to pass by without noticing us. We had content and video running on nine flat screen monitors. It was non-stop excitement. The client had hired convention models and offered an open bar." Ted chuckles: "Now that is a sure way to attract attendees. We also heard many car dealers comment excitedly about Grant Cardone. Grant Cardone has a decades long history of being the number one sales trainer in the world. Meeting him was a highlight for many who good-humoredly referred to him as "The King"."
Thank you for reading. Have a great week!
