Event Report: We ❤️ California - And This California Themed Event Design
700 guests, 3 days in the gorgeous ocean-front Terranea Resort, we had the pleasure of being tasked with designing an event to promote the Golden State, Home Sweet Home California. Our Director of Design Kate Brack and Floral Artist Rebecca Motus were thrilled to apply a palette of pop colors to various iconic design objects, such as the California bear and our state flower, the poppy. Alisa Walsh reports. "We were tasked with creating a design highlighting California for an event in the tourism industry. Kate excelled at creating a colorful theme based on iconic California objects that we wove through every aspect of the event. For all the floral we focused on poppies in bright blue, orange and greens. Poppies are such gorgeous flowers and the pop color arrangements gave the whole ballroom an instant California feel.
