Image
Alisa Walsh with Jackie Ash, Teresa Karcher and Briana Anderson. Alisa: "In a world of global connectivity via technology IMEX shows us every year that Face-2-Face meetings still matter - and that they make all the difference in the world." We are happy to share Alisa's impressions of IMEX America 2019 from Las Vegas, NV. Alisa: "IMEX is still the most anticipated trade show of the year as it is truly the best opportunity to see every single person in our industry under one enormous roof.  I started off early, attending the SITE Young Leaders Conference for two days prior to the kickoff of IMEX. As the incoming 2020 president of the SITE Southern California Chapter the education opportunity was incredibly important to me. The conference was also a great chance to connect with the global board. We wrapped up the conference with the very fun, networking-on-steroids SITE Nite on Monday, September 9th as part of the IMEX events. IMEX North America took pla...

Sun, Sand and Surf - A Cohesive Incentive Event In Cancun

Image
Yes, we do ❤️ our job! Alisa Walsh, Brynne Peña and Rebecca Fernandez Motus were the lucky 3 who got to work in Cancun, Mexico, last week. 6 days of sun, surf and sand - but you know that we don't actually have time to swim and tan. We were very honored to have been selected by our U.S. client to work in Mexico for this event. The Event: a 3-day incentive program Location: Cancun, Mexico Guests: 550 Director of Business Development Alisa Walsh:  "We are very pleased to have been brought into this event in Mexico by our client. We work together regularly and they trust us to bring together all the pieces necessary to create a cohesive incentive event, no matter where in the world it takes place. We planned from abroad, at home in Los Angeles, but made several trips for site visits and conferences with all parties involved. It was a pleasure to consult with everyone involved to bring our client's vision that we are familiar with to this new location." Ou...

Alisa with our Mexico Team: Gerardo and Rocio. Alisa Walsh reports from Mexico City. The Event: a General Session and Dinner  Guest Count: 120 Industry: Hotel Franchise Owners and General Managers Date: May 2018 One month time to produce a general session and dinner event in Mexico City? Not a problem. Alisa: "Thanks to our wonderful team members in Mexico we can deliver an event in Mexico City in the same time frame it takes us to produce a similar event in our hometown of Los Angeles. I have to say, we had the hardest working staff ever. They did not have an easy load-in. As a further challenge we had a very short turnaround time from general session to dinner." "We had just an hour and a half for the room turn and our team made it happen in record time even though they had to overcome a difficult access route. They had to bring all dinner evening elements in by walking through the kitchen and up one floor using stairs and a freight elevator. Our local...
