Until we meet at The Special Event 2015 I am honored to be one of the THE SPECIAL EVENT 2015 Ambassadors with David Merrell,  and look forward to our conference in Anaheim in January. It is a great opportunity to exchange ideas, educate ourselves about trends and creative ideas in our industry, and energize ourselves for a new year. But it's not just all business! Gala Night will be a great event, produced by colleagues for their peers. I am really looking forward to the entertainment! Dear Friends, We are grateful and honored that our production "Reaching New Heights" has been honored with a Gala Award for "BEST THEATRICAL ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCTION". --> I t was a Gala Night for 1600 VIP guests and comprised a production crew of 200, over 50 performers of all disciplines, four new event technologies: Reaching New Heights took place on February 1, 2013 at Hangar 79, Pearl Harbor. The producers honored the Chinese client as well as the historic location with a theme based on Space and Aviation. A "Space Launch" on an innovative cylindrical, hydraulic center LED screen opened the evening's show of 3 hours of non-stop entertainment, featuring dance, 3D aerial acrobatics, live music and jugglers set to customized surround projection media for an unforgettable night We could not have done this without the support of our wonderful, creative client as well as the  hard work and dedication from our EventWorks staff and all of ...

Dear Friends, Just in time for Thanksgiving, we got really happy news and a lot of reasons to be thankful! EventWorks secured nominations in four categories for the 2011 Special Events Gala Awards. Our nominations are: BEST ACHIEVEMENT IN TECHNICAL SUPPORT "Solutions: Spirit of the Entrepreneur" Technical Director Ted Bowers and his team, including Greg Holford, Greg Russell and Marcelo Cruz, pioneered 360° degree video projection, bringing the rock arena technology to the meeting room. BEST DECOR: BUDGET UNDER $20,000 "Legends Gala" Katie Rogers and Kate Brack worked wonders, re-purposing almost everything in items and decor from a multi-day program to create a glamorous Closing Event in Las Vegas.
