Celebrating and Honoring Barry White This Week
Dear Friends! We were very pleased to learn that Barry White will be posthumously honored with a Star on the world famous Walk of Fame this week! If in Hollywood, catch the ceremony on September 12th - it would have been his 69th birthday - at 11:30am. The Star will be located at 6914 Hollywood Blvd, across from the Dolby Theatre. That's prime Walk of Fame real estate, and the ceremony will feature Motown's Berry Gordy and widow Glodean White. We all have personal memories of Barry White. Marion met him during her music industry days and still swoons over his bass voice and kind manners. DJ Matt goes way back with the White family.
