Mother's Day Crash Course from Our Floral Designer Ariel Zazueta
Dear Mothers and dear Friends!
It seems that our friends and family members all expect wonderfully artsy decorations just because we are in the event industry. We admit that some of us have nothing but thumbs in this regard. The topic of what to get our moms came up this week and Project Manager Michael Alvarado and Floral Designer Ariel Zazueta volunteered to help. Here their crash course on how to quickly and easily create a gorgeous bouquet - with flowers most of us will find in our gardens.
1) Organize your flowers and greens in vases.
2) Loop and staples your tropical leaves and lilli greens
3) Leave-line your vase
4) Start by creating a triangle with your largest floral
5) Add your next floral also in triangular shape
6) Follow your sense of style
7) Mist the finished bouquet for freshness
Extra tip: adding mint or rosemary adds a wonderful aroma to your bouquet!
And voilà, your bouquet is ready!
If you are lacking in talent like blogger Marion, please check out the slideshow Ariel and Michael put together with a step by step explanation.
A Big THANK YOU to Michael and Ariel for all their help!
Wishing all the mothers a wonderful Mother's Day!
