Music Tools: We Energized a Sales Force with this Tune!

Image
Dear Friends, We just had one of those powerful moments related to a musical experience that we think is worth sharing with our industry. Ted Bowers and team started the year in Dallas, Texas, producing a product launch and sales training event in the medical industry for 350 guests. Marcelo Cruz created playlists for all the sessions for the 5-days-long event. In one case a very motivational song was needed as a musical tool to energize the sales force. Marcelo: "The product launch had an interesting twist during the presentation as the brand manager shared the lyrics of Baba O'Riley with the sales force. Janet Elkins and Chris Gerstenblatt had a great time attending the Special Event Conference, catching up on trends, meeting colleagues and friends and checking out new venues and talent in Music City. Our friend Dianne Devitt from DND Group in New York City ventured out to catch a set at the legendary Honky Tonk Tootsie's and came back raving about the artist she had the chance to catch on stage: John Stone. Dianne: "His set was great; really energized and musically tight. But I am most impressed by how much he cared about the crowd. He is really a great communicator, with that rustic country look and charm, and the ability to connect with the audience. His gig was a great event and he managed to engage a Nashville audience that is used to seeing top names in town." All of these qualities are a great plus in our industry and we googled John Stone right away. he's got credentials! This from his website...
